Rewards Expands its
Promotional Offerings
The Fitness Rewards program, formerly part of Denver-based health club
promotions agency Promote It International, has provided health clubs,
recreation and community centers, premium spas, and wellness facilities with
relevant and health-conscious samples since 1990. Fitness Rewards is now part of the Active Network, which has given Fitness Rewards the opportunity to
improve and expand its promotional offerings. The new partnership with the
Active Network also offers additional services to fitness facilities, including
integrated marketing, seasonal promotional kits, online directory services, and
technology solutions.

Giveaway takes Skate Parks to the Next Level
ActiveRewards and
Vitaball® Gumball Company created an interactive online contest that empowered
kids to design custom skateboards online, while competing to win weekly prizes.
A total of 600 prizes were distributed during the course of the promotion,
including 5 winning custom skateboards and 20 Vitaball t-shirts per week. 100 Participating
skate parks drove traffic to the “Design Your Next Deck” online contest and
created excitement within the skateboarding community to compete to win one of
five Vitaball grants. Grants consist of a $10,000 makeover from American Ramp
Company and a $5,000 in cash from Vitaball.
Each
skate park was provided an activation kit with exciting Vitaball gear to kick
off the program and a secondary supply kit at the halfway point to keep up the
excitement. ActiveRewards also
provided Vitaball banners and tabletop signs to each of the parks. Further,
Vitaball skate ambassadors distributed stickers, wristbands, coupons, and tattoos
to skaters, answered questions regarding the contest. Vitaball ambassadors also
awarded Great SK8 Giveaway trucker hats to kids that were spotted wearing
Vitaball gear.
